I will be traveling in the EU soon. Do I need to apply for a European Vaccination Card (EVC)?

No, you do not need to apply for an European Vaccination Card (EVC) to travel in the EU.

The EVC is:

  1. Not a certificate or a passport
  2. Still in the planning stages, with pilot projects set to take place in five countries during 2024 and 2025. These pilots are voluntary.
