EUVABECO’s inaugural meeting lays the groundwork for the ambitious initiative aimed at improving vaccination practice within the European Union

The EUVABECO (European Vaccination Beyond COVID-19) consortium, a collaboration of 14 partner organizations, kick-started its mission to enhance EU vaccination strategies with a virtual meeting on February 5th and 6th, 2024. Gathering 45 representatives from the consortium’s partners, the meeting was crucial for discussing project updates, pilot programs, and enhancing communication and coordination.

This inaugural meeting marks a significant milestone for the EUVABECO consortium, laying the groundwork for an ambitious initiative aimed at improving vaccination approaches within the European Union. With the consortium preparing to unveil its initial findings – comprising the results of a comprehensive scoping review and a framework for the implementation plan – it’s gearing up for its inaugural face-to-face meeting in Brussels this May. This upcoming meeting is poised to further define and strengthen the consortium’s strategic and operational plans and will not only solidify partnerships among members but will also see the involvement of newly appointed External Advisory Board members.
